She moved from the Royal Forest of Dean where she and her husband created the highly acclaimed Gunn Mill House, picked by the editor of 'Which' as one of Britain's top 20.Lea House offers the same high standards in three well-appointed bedrooms. The décor is eclectic with pieces gathered from far and wide during her previous working life in the film industry. There are mementoes of her travels - from working in places as far-flung as Australia and India, America and Thailand. Good food is also an essential part of this household and guests will find the home-made food a real treat. The AA has just reconfirmed Caroline’s egg cup award, denoting an outstanding breakfast and have now awarded her a casserole award, denoting an outstanding dinner. Less than 250 places in the country achieve these awards. STOP PRESS – 2 New Kittens have come to live at Lea House. They are tortoiseshell, called Piccal and Lilli, and already very endearing and are providing much entertainment for our guests. (see my Blog for pictures and updates).
